19 Aug Teeth Whitening
Teeth may lose their whiteness over the years due to food, drinks (coffee, wine and tea) and cigarette consumption. To correct this situation, teeth whitening (bleaching) can be performed by applying aesthetic dental treatments. The amount of opening varies from person to person.
There are two types of treatment that can be chosen. The first of these is the method with faster results in the practice (Office bleaching), and the other is the method that you can apply yourself at home (Home bleaching).
Office bleaching: The whitening process is done in a single session. For this purpose, the gums are isolated and a whitening gel is applied on the teeth. Special light sources such as laser, halogen or LED are used to activate the gel according to the decision of your dentist by looking at the structure and color tone of the tooth tissue.
Home bleaching: The home bleaching method is also done under the supervision of the dentist. At the first appointment, the dentist takes measurements from the patient’s teeth and prepares a transparent plaque to be placed on the teeth with this measurement. This plaque, which is used by the person whitening at home, ensures the application of the whitening agent to the teeth of the patient and the protection of the gums.
